Conference: MARSS 2024 in Delft, NL.

The International Conference on Manipulation, Automation and Robotics at Small Scales (MARSS) is the flagship annual forum dedicated to the science and technology of micro- and nanoscale systems. It brings together researchers and industry experts to present and discuss advances in manipulation, automation, robotics, sensing, and manufacturing at small scales, with applications ranging from nanomedicine and bioengineering to materials science and nanofabrication.

A conference special session titled “Special session: Manipulation of micro- and nanomaterials and their applications” was organised at the MARSS-2024 with the following 6 presentations:

  • Reproducible Fabrication of Liquid Metal Droplet with FIB Sputtering for Contact Angle Measurement in SEM – Lei, Y., & Fatikow, S.
  • Artificial enhanced image inpainting for Broadband SMM – Wieghaus, M. F., Saeed, W., & Yasir, M.
  • Characterization of Tunable Multilayer Graphene Ink by a Microstrip Transmission Line – Ullah, S., Saeed, W., & Yasir, M.
  • Microwave Electromagnetic Shielding of Free-Standing Composites of Silver Nanowires Sandwiched Between Graphene Oxide or Reduced Graphene Oxide Layers – Kepić, D., Pantić, A., Saeed, W., Yasir, M., & Jovanović, S.
  • Carbon-based nanomaterials in electromagnetic interference shielding: graphene oxide, reduced graphene oxide, electrochemically exfoliated graphene, and biomass-derivated graphene – Jovanovic, S., Yasir, M., Saeed, W., Spanopoulos, I., Syrgiannis, Z., Milenkovic, M., & Kepic, D.
  • Environmental-dependent adhesion energy of nanobelt bridges formed using optical microscope-assisted nanomanipulation – Liang Ma, Shiliang Wang, Sergej Fatikow, James. Mead.
