The 3M‑NANO 2024 (IEEE International Conference on Manipulation, Manufacturing and Measurement on the Nanoscale) took place from 29 July to 2 August 2024 in Zhongshan, China, bringing together leading minds in nanoscience and engineering to explore cutting-edge advances in nanoscale technologies.

A dedicated technical special session titled “ENSIGN‑BG” was chaired by Kostadin Kostadinov and Irina Georgieva, and included 6 presentations from the ENSIGN project:
